Many candle shops blend soy with other waxes to try and harness the best of both worlds. In fact, many common waxes on the market blend soy with other wax types, including Cargill NatureWax C-1, which is 80% soy and 20% palm wax. WebI think that soy and soy mixes are a great wax for the candle industries future. However some realities need to be discussed. Such as the fact that there are stability issues with 100% soy wax. Most soy wax’s have a small percentage of paraffin in them to address the stability issues. For my candles I use coco apricot soy.
