WebGranite prickly-phlox fruit is a 3-valved capsule that splits open at maturity to release small seeds [ 93, 97, 142 ]. Capsules are cylindrical [ 97] and 3.5 to 5.5 mm long [ 28, 138 ]. Seeds are brown, oblong, and about 1.2 mm long [ 97 ]. Each valve of the seed capsule contains about 5 to 10 seeds [ 28 ].
