The gas version's fuel tank is the exact same thing and they need an expansion pocket above liquid because of the change in volume based on temperature. Diesel doesn't do that near as much. WebJan 14, 2016 · Hutch and Harpoon mod. Remove the fuel tank, or remove the bed, and pull the mixing screens out of the tank. Remove them, drill out the intake foot, and install a pickup line to put the foot back on. Also, re-route your return line so it's not dumping right back in the tank next to the pickup. The OBS has a mod that takes the vent from inside the filler neck to the outside. It also uses a larger roll over valve from a cab n chassis truck. If you search it you will find the link...I can't remember exactly where I found it. I know DZLJIM had a good write up on his site.
